Rodrig Thain sulla TM ufficiale nel 2008
La TM RACING ha siglato un accordo con il pilota francese Rodrig Thain per la stagione iridata enduro 2008.
Il forte transalpino porterà in gara la TM EN 450F ufficiale nella difficile categoria E2.
Thain si è avvicinato nel 2007 per la prima volta al mondiale enduro dimostrando di essere subito veloce lottando ad armi pari con alcuni dei più forti piloti della disciplina.
Ha 27 anni e un lungo passato agonistico alle spalle con esperienze sia nel mondiale motocross che nel supercross americano, dove ha gareggiato per cinque anni come pilota ufficiale.
Dopo aver firmato l’accordo Thain ha detto: “….sono veramente contento della grande opportunità che la TM mi sta dando. Mi hanno illustrato i loro progetti ed ho avuto modo di vedere la moto 2008 e sono sicuro che faremo un buon campionato……”.
Anche Gastone Serafini ha così commentato: “….Abbiamo maturato una buona esperienza in MX1 con la 450 cc e credo sia giusto far vedere che funziona molto bene anche nella versione enduro. Avevamo bisogno di un buon pilota per questa categoria e sono sicuro che Rodrig lo sia, l’ho visto molto motivato e non vedo l’ora che possa iniziare a lavorare con noi…..”

Rodrig Thain on the TM factory bike in 2008
TM RACING has signed an agreement with the French rider Rodrig Thain for the 2008 enduro world championship.
The strong transalpine will ride the factory TM EN 450F in the difficult E2 category. Thain start in this 2007 for the first time to ride in the WEC showing immediately to be very fast and fighting with the most fastest rider of this category.
He is 27 years old and with a long past in a Motocross world championship and American supercross series, where he has raced for five years as a factory rider.
After the signature of this agreement Thain said: “…..I’m very happy about this great opportunity that TM give me. I have seen all their future projects and I have seen the 2008 bikes and I’m sure we will have a great season.
Also Gastone Serafini, TM owner, has so commented: “…..We have made a good experience in MX1 with the 450 cc and I believe that we have to show that this bike works very well also in enduro version. We needed a good rider in this categoryand I’m sure that Rodrig should be, I saw him motivated and I’m looking forward he could start to work with us……”.
